Policy and civil society work

Aside of my academic work, I have nearly two decades of experience in working with civil society organisations in the Balkans. Most recently, in 2017 I co-founded the civil society organisation Stella, which focuses on issues of gender equality.

My policy and civil society work over the years has primarily been in two directions: developing programmes for social cohesion, specifically targeting youth and women in conflict-affected societies, and providing evidence-based policy recommendations for inclusive and democratic societies.
